Holiday Inn Express Winnemucca by IHG

The staff was happy to see me and very inviting. The room was amazing and I had a personal greeting and snacks as a welcome! I'll be a return customer for sure.

This hotel was very clean — I was actually impressed. I've stayed at a fair share of hotels, and this is by far the cleanest one I’ve stayed at. There was no hair in the bathroom, the bedding was spotless, and it even had a mattress protector and cover. The staff were very kind and welcoming. I never felt like a bother when asking questions, which I really appreciated. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the pool. It was extremely dirty — the bottom felt like it had rocks, the floor of the pool was pretty gross, and it smelled like old chlorine. The water felt murky and uninviting. Aside from that, everything else about this hotel was amazing. If you enjoy gambling, there’s a casino right next door. It’s also within walking distance to several restaurants.

Arrived after driving for 10 hours and a fire had knocked out the power. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure we had a place to stay for the night in spite of it being such a difficult situation. I greatly appreciate their effort and hospitality.

Hotel is upgraded from previous, well put together, near, clean and as good or better than just about any of the better hotels I have stayed at before!

We had booked a cheaper motel in town even though we knew better. Well we should have listened to our gut. Ended up leaving there and coming here. Deandre was so helpful getting us a room quickly. He was so polite and helpful. I wish more hotel front desk people were as nice as him. He answered all my questions and concerns.

Conveniently located, spacious room, quiet, great Mexican restaurant Nextdoor, good breakfast Buffett. The only problems we encountered were a leaky faucet at one of the sinks and our coffee pot didn’t operate.

Traveling with 2 border collies, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was cool and clean, as well as the whole hotel. It has a small casino/bar attached to the lobby that was not smoky at all.

Thank you Dre! AND Lissette! (Sorry if I spelt your name wrong!) Dre was helpful from the beginning to the end and I just really appreciate the hospitality and accommodation. The place smelt SO GOOD. I could hear the neighboring rooms but that’s why I bring ear plugs lol it’s a hotel. Many people are there. The breakfast was great! And the lovely woman that prepares it for the guest really are the stars of the show. THANK YOU TO THE BREAKFAST CREW! My family LOVED the pancake machine!! So fun! The pool was indoors and open. It wasn’t as warm as one would hope but it was fine for my boys. Needs some tlc but it looks like it’s in the process. No points docked for that. The only thing would be the cleanliness of the bathroom in our room. The toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet very well and it was not clean. But I get it. I’m not upset. Mostly just giving a heads up. The place isn’t absolutely perfect but it IS a VERY NICE HOTEL. The beds were *CHEFS KISS* So comfy! The sheets were so soft!! I was super happy about that. Overall… The service by Dre and the rest of the staff made up for the questionable cleanliness of the restroom.
